Jason Flom – Millionaire music executive helping the wrongfully convicted

In April 2017, I was fortunate to be in New York and met Jason Flom. He shared some of his background in the music industry. He began his career with Atlantic Records and eventually became CEO. He moved from there to Virgin Records, then Capitol Music Group and is currently CEO of Lava Records, which he originally founded in 1995.

Along the way, he has discovered artists such as Lorde, Katy Perry, Thirty Seconds to Mars and Kid Rock.

For over 20 years, Jason has also been an advocate for first time offenders and the wrongfully convicted. He now has a regular podcast where he interviews those who have been exonerated, giving them an opportunity to discuss their stories in greater detail and to talk to experts about the science that has helped to free them.
